Unleashing the Power of Your Story

I am a storyteller, educator, and narrative disrupter with a passion for connecting people through the power of words. For over 20 years, I’ve helped individuals and organizations harness their stories to inspire meaningful change.

Having facilitated more than 5,000 workshops nationwide, I guide students, professionals, and communities through essential conversations about substance use recovery, mental health, social justice, and youth empowerment. Whether delivering keynotes for organizations such as Google, SAMHSA, or the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, or engaging directly with schools and communities, I strive to ensure every story resonates deeply.

My work has been featured in the award-winning documentary Tipping the Pain Scale, which explores systemic failures and innovative solutions in addiction recovery, as well as in the CDC and Ad Council’s Recovery Starts With Hope campaign. At the core of my poetry, storytelling, and leadership is a simple but profound belief: when individuals feel empowered to share their authentic stories, they have the power to transform their lives and their communities.

Most recently, I collaborated with a team of psychologists and neuroscientists from Harvard’s Massachusetts General Hospital to develop an innovative drug and mental health education curriculum specifically designed for parents and caregivers. This initiative equips families with tools to better understand and support loved ones facing substance use and mental health challenges.

Additionally, I’m currently partnering with the Catalyst Center, a collaborative effort of the California Alliance, to integrate storytelling into their comprehensive training programs. This project empowers non-medical, youth-serving personnel across California to recognize and effectively engage young people around issues of substance use and behavioral health.

As the CEO of LMSvoice, I lead a dedicated team committed to redefining how storytelling can inspire connection and social change. Whether on stage, in workshops, or behind the scenes, my mission is to create environments where stories foster empathy, understanding, and actionable change.
